Pricing FAQ

Why pay-per-cohort instead of an annual SaaS contract?
Recruitment isn't continuous — you hire when you need to. Annual contracts force you to pay for unused months. Pay-per-cohort means you pay only when you have a real role to fill. The Retainer tier exists for teams hiring more than 2-3 cohorts per month.
What does "no-charge if not useful" actually cover?
If the report contains material factual errors, missing citation evidence, or doesn't actually score against the JD you submitted, notify within 7 days of delivery and I refund in full. Subjective dissatisfaction (you don't like the candidates) isn't grounds — the candidates are who they are. Full terms.
Are there volume discounts?
Yes. The Retainer at £249/month is the volume discount — if you hire more than 3 cohorts a month, it's cheaper than pay-per-cohort. For very high volume (10+/month) email Brian for a custom quote.
How does the Full Agency placement fee work?
10% of the placed candidate's gross first-year salary, invoiced 50% on shortlist delivery and 50% on placement start. Comes with a 90-day replacement guarantee: 100% rebate if candidate leaves in 30 days, 75% in 60 days, 50% in 90 days.
Is VAT charged?
No. ProperFit Hire is below the £90,000 VAT threshold and not currently VAT-registered. All prices on this page are GBP exclusive of any future VAT charge.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit/debit cards via Stripe Checkout. BACS bank transfer also available for invoiced engagements (Retainer / Full Agency). Late payment attracts statutory interest at 8% above BoE base rate.
How do I cancel my Retainer?
Two ways: (1) sign in to your portal and click "Manage subscription" — opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel; or (2) email enquiries@properfithire.co.uk before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
