What's NOT yet fully accessible (known issues)
| Issue | Where | Impact | Target fix |

Inclusion features that ARE live today
Reasonable adjustments passport
Set once on your profile, declared with each application (with your explicit consent). Includes: extra interview time, written assessment instead of live, quiet interview space, visual aids, support person allowed, accessible building required, working-pattern adjustments. Edit at /me.
Disability Confident scheme awareness
Where an employer is enrolled in the DWP Disability Confident scheme (Committed / Employer / Leader), we surface their level on job listings. You can filter alerts to "Disability Confident Employer (Level 2+) only" if you want.
Neuroaffirming interview prep
If you declare a neurodivergence on your profile, the interview-prep generator switches to written-task and scenario-based formats with strengths-led STAR alternatives. Your declaration never leaves your account without your explicit consent.
Equality Act 2010 + Worker Protection Act 2024
The scoring engine never asks for protected characteristics. Hirers see your score, evidence, and (with your consent) your declared adjustments — never age, race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage status, or pregnancy.
Alternative formats
If you need any content (privacy notice, terms, an interview-prep pack you've generated, or a cohort report) in large print, audio, easy-read, or BSL-described, email dpo@properfithire.co.uk. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If something on this site is hard to use because of an accessibility issue, please tell us.
Email dpo@properfithire.co.uk with:
- The page URL where the issue occurs
- What you were trying to do
- The assistive technology you were using (if any)
We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and propose a fix or workaround within 10 working days.
If we don't respond
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010 in Great Britain. Contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) if you're unhappy with our response.
Technical specification
The site uses semantic HTML5, ARIA where required, and progressive enhancement (every core feature works without JavaScript). Our build does not rely on any closed-source accessibility plug-in (e.g. accessiBe / UserWay) — those have been criticised by the disability community and we don't want to overlay user-controlled accessibility settings.
Mermoid engine specifics
The deterministic scoring engine (the "math layer") never makes a candidate's protected-characteristic data part of any score. Reasonable adjustments are stored separately from the scoring profile and only travel with applications when the candidate explicitly enables that on a per-application basis. The PDF audit trail of every cohort report is reviewable on request — under UK GDPR Article 22, you have the right to a human review of any automated decision that significantly affects you.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 7 May 2026 based on a self-assessment of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA. We will commission an external accessibility audit before the platform reaches 1,000 paying customers, or by end-2026, whichever comes first.
